Directions for: Honey-Garlic Chicken Burgers with Veggies and Dip
Ingredients
Honey-Garlic Chicken Burgers4 675 g large, boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 large zipper lock freezer bag
cup honey garlic sauce (jar variety)
cooking spray
6 whole wheat buns (6-8)
fixings of your choice
Veggie Dipcup low-fat mayonnaise
cup no-fat sour cream
tsp Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb Seasoning
Veggies2 cup pre-washed baby carrots
2 cup pre-washed and cut broccoli
2 cup pre-washed and cut cauliflower
1 red pepper, sliced into strips
Directions
Honey-Garlic Chicken Burgers1. Place chicken breasts in zipper lock freezer bag.
2. Pour honey-garlic sauce over top.
3. Seal and squish sauce all over chicken.
4. Toss in freezer
5. Grill chicken breasts on BBQ or broil in oven until juices run clear and center is no longer pink. (160F). (If you use cooking spray, spray directly on lean cuts of meat, it helps them not to stick to either pan or grill).
6. Slice buns and arrange fixings, e.g. mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato.
Veggie Dip1. Blend together mayonnaise, no-fat sour cream and spice to make veggie dip.
2. Store in Fridge.
