Greek Village Salad

Greek Village Salad
Serve with chicken souvlaki and a Greek pita for an authentic Greek meal!

Directions for: Greek Village Salad

Ingredients

2 cup 1/2-inch (1 cm) chunks English cucumber

2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

red onion, thinly sliced

cup pitted Krinos Kalamata olives

1 cup crumbled Krinos Feta Cheese

2 Tbsp chopped, flat leaf parsley

1 tsp Krinos oregano

cup Krinos olive oil

2 Tbsp lemon juice

salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste

4 cup mixed greens or frise (optional)

Directions

1. In a large bowl, gently combine cucumber, tomatoes, onion, olives, Krinos Feta Cheese, parsley and oregano. Drizzle salad mixture with olive oil and lemon juice; salt and pepper to taste.

2. Place one cup (250 mL) lettuce in the center of each plate (if using) and top with village salad mixture.
