Paprika Roasted Chicken with Gravy, Fries and Caesar Salad

Directions for: Paprika Roasted Chicken with Gravy, Fries and Caesar Salad

Ingredients

2 ⅕ lb(s) Precooked Roaster Chicken from the Deli (1 kg)

1 Tbsp Paprika

1 lb(s) (450 gms) Frozen French Fries, I like McCain Super Quick 5 min fries

1 tsp Seasoning Salt for all (Optional)

1 pkg Chicken Gravy Powder (2 oz / 51 gms) like Swiss Chalet brand

2 cup Water

lb(s) Caesar Salad Kit (350 g)

Directions

1. Take out equipment and ingredients. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

2. Slice chicken into quarters, using a sharp meat knife, by cutting in half between the breast plate.

3. Separate between dark and white meat. (Dark being leg and thigh, white being breast and wing.)

4. Place chicken bottom side down on to a roasting pan. Sprinkle with paprika.

5. Place in preheated oven on bottom rack.

6. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.

7. Arrange fries in a single layer. Spray tops of fries with cooking spray and add a light sprinkle of seasoning salt.

8. Place in oven on upper middle rack above chicken and set timer for 5 minutes.

9. When timer rings, toss and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.

10. Gradually whisk water into gravy powder in a stove-top pot. (Or follow package directions.)

11. Cook at high for 7-8 minutes stirring frequently until mixture is thickened.

12. Meanwhile: Transfer lettuce to a salad bowl. Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat.

13. Add croutons and place at table.
