Spiced Indian Chicken
Yogurt makes this spiced chicken creamy while still maintainig its deep flavours.
Directions for: Spiced Indian Chicken

Ingredients

1 cup plain yogurt (250 ml)

2 Tbsp dried fenugreek leaves, crushed with hands (30 ml)

1 Tbsp garam masala (15 ml)

pinch of cayenne pepper

1 tsp cardamom powder (5 ml)

2 Tbsp tomato paste (30 ml)

1 Tbsp brown sugar (23 ml)

pinch of salt and pepper

1 clove garlic, chopped

2 chicken thighs, skin and bone in

Directions

1. Combine all the ingredients except the chicken pieces in a large bowl and mix well.

2. When ready to cook, preheat a grill to medium-high. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and place on the grill. Grill the chicken, basting and turning the chicken until it is done, about 15 to 20 minutes per side. Chicken is done when it is no longer pink.
